I am discombobulated. I slept fitfully last night.

And this morning: in a church pew, a nurse practitioner and I performed CPR on an 85 year old man who collapsed during the sermon. He "came back" but it was disquieting for us all.

I'm glad you were there to perform CPR on the elderly gentleman at your congregation.

Many years ago, there was an elderly gentleman that always seemed to faint when my father led song service. Each time he fainted, someone would call the ambulance. The gentleman would stand up to lead a prayer, then he would pass out. For the longest time, I thought my father was responsible for this man passing out, and it really scared me. I hadn't thought about that in a long time.
